AUSTRALIAN LIONS HEARING DOGS have produced a lovely 2021 calendar with a different dog for each month. It would have been hard to choose only 12 dogs from the number ALHD have trained and delivered in the past year. Just $10 each, all proceeds support the training and delivery of each Hearing Assistance Dog. If you would like to purchase, please contact sandylionsclub@gmail.com or go to: https://lionshearingdogs.com.au/shop/2020-calendar

Sandringham Lions Club has been successful in receiving a grant from Bayside Council to launch a positive ageing digital storytelling project (PADSIP) at a local school in 2019. This program involves the making of a life story through the collaboration between older adults and younger students and is based on existing successful programs being run at other schools including Auburn and Camberwell ...High.
If you know an older adult who would be interested in participating in the program and sharing their life story or if you want to volunteer to help coordinate the program (transporting participants to the school, organising the presentation night etc) then please email: sandylionsclub@gmail.com
